The North Otago Rock and Mineral Club is an incorporated society run for those who wish to study all aspects of geology, mineralogy, lapidary work and fossils. Field trips are arranged to explore the availability of semiprecious stones & fossils and to collect specimens for individuals or the club.
Club meetings are held once a month in the evenings of the first Wednesday.

The club is expanding gradually and we now have 4 to 5 new members. There is more enthusiasm for the monthly outings which is great to see, and we as a club are happy to help the new members learn more about our great hobbie.

Some of the things we find locally and abroad are very exciting to our new and old members alike.
